I got to work with the University of Nevada Medical School again this past week. I had the opportunity to tour the surgical lab and I got to check out one of their high-tech patients.
This guy is pretty cool, he bleeds, talks, vomits, and even dies… don’t worry though, he comes back to life.

Last week I got to work with the wonderful staff of the Sanford Center for Aging at UNR. They invited Dr. Allen Power to give a talk on his book, Dementia Beyond Drugs: Changing the Culture of Care. Afterwards he signed a few copies and talked with guests.
So I know I missed the “Merry Christmas” and the “Happy New Years” posts. I have been caught up in enjoying those particular holidays and neglected my blog. So here it is, merry belated Christmas and happy week-ago New Year! Better? Here is a little of what I have been up to.
I shot a couple of events at Bizarre Guitar including the bass guitarist from the Alice Cooper Band and the fellas from Queensryche and Great White. 
I also shot a couple Christmas parties including one for Edward Jones Investments.

I then wrapped up 2013 by shooting the party at WET Ultra Lounge.
So my posting has definitely lacked through December and the holiday season. Sorry for that, school, family, and blatant laziness are stronger than I. Here are some photos of a delightful family I photographed in November. I bet you can’t tell who was the star of the show…
So it’s been a while since I last posted anything. Not that I haven’t been busy behind the lens it’s just been finding shoots ya’ll would find interesting and that I would dub “blog worthy”. This shoot was for the UNR School of Medicine Alumni. First we had a sort of cocktail hour and I set up a light for some class reunion type portraits. The next day was a tailgate event for the UNR vs UNLV football game.

So just as I was wrapping up the images from my sister’s wedding I get another call. Two weddings in two weekends, mildly stressful but still very awesome. Enjoy the photos!
